History
Alfa Electronics, headquartered in Canton, Georgia was founded in 1993 as a privately held Small Women Owned Organization. While primarily a traditional broker at that time the company has evolved as a fully franchised distributor of electronic components.
The President and owner Bettina Clark along with Renato Beneforti, Vice President of European Sales and Al Clark, Director of Purchasing founded the company not far from it's current location. They each continue today to promote an extraordinary quality of service combined with a highly ethical and principled discipline of managment style.
In May of 2009 Alfa opened its new Corporate and Distribution Headquarters in Canton, Ga. The physical distribution center is fully certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ESD 20.20. It houses a state of the art Quality department utilizing full microscopic and ERAI counterfiet detection and abatement processes.
Alfa has recently been awarded Future Electronics first Gold Independant Distributor Certification as a Small Women Owned and operated business. This alliance provides unlimited component supply in addition to global distribution resources unparralled in the industry. The alliance provides "Best in Class" distribution services to large and medium OEM's, CM's and EMS organizations who support and maintain well defined diversity intiatives.

Alfa has always looked to franchise content material as one of the best ways to mitigate the introduction of suspect or inferior quality material. Despite the pedigree of components acquired from manufactures direct it is still not without challenges. Our Total Quality Management processes along with identifable and accountable suppliers insures the highest level of quality electronic components without the worry of open market purchased material.
